It would be how the wife met ted because it doesn't refer to another relationship. Just the one of how I met your mother which revolves around the narrator ted mosby

Who the fuck else would it be about? The shows about how ted met his wife, so why would a show about how his wife met her husband be about another dude.

Well considering that anyone who has seen the show would know that Ted is the dad... then it would take any and all suspense from wondering if the next guy she meets is going to be the one, since it's not Ted... which is the main pull that this show has on viewers. Think before you speak, dummy.

In tonight's episode, this lady is on her period. Exciting stuff. She might blow up at someone for no reason, but it's okay because she's on her time of the month.

As much as I love the show, I don't think a spin-off would do well because of the aforementioned lack of suspense. It just wouldn't sit well with current viewers.

That would be hell for those kids. Could you imagine? "And that, kids, is the story of how I met your mother. Now go outside and play basketball or something; you guys look pale." And then he walks away and just as they stand up, the mother comes in and is all, "Kids, did I ever tell you the story of how I met your father? No? Great! Sit down and I'll tell you ALL about it!" And then the prospect of having to sit on that same damn couch for another eight or nine years drives them so mad they burn down the house and get sent to the loony bin and Ted learns not to tell such long stories ever again. True story.
