Did you consider that different people of different cultures see Santa differently? Like little Chinese kids see Santa as Chinese? Or Dominicans view Santa as Dominican? Maybe black kids see Santa as being black. He real to different cultures in different ways.

That doesn't really work because 1. Nobody sees Santa. You have to be asleep for him to come. 2. There's only one Santa. He is white. He's not going to change race just to visit the children who never actually see him anyway.

What do you mean nobody ever sees Santa? When watching cartoons there's Santa. In malls there is Santa. Besides Santa isn't real. There can be as many Santas as people want to believe in.

Even as a black person, I have to agree. Santa was created as a white person, and thats just his character. You shouldn't just go and change that to be culturally diverse, otherwise you're changing the character.

It worked pretty well in Elf.

I think it depends on the situation. If there's a mall in a black community, of course the Santa is going to be black. But I think doing it for racial diversity is stupid.

The first thing I thought about when I read this was the book Paper Towns by John Green. NERDFIGHTERS, DFTBA!
