People really tend to underestimate tattoo artists and think of it as a really low and shitty job. It involves a lot of creativity (something not everyone has) and years of practise in school. Even though it's not the profession that I'm going for, I seriously give props to these people.

They get paid really well though, my boyfiend's step-sister is a tattoo artist and she makes over $100 an hour.

They trace the designs, but yeah, they're still pretty amazing--seeing as you can't erase if you screw up.

Dear God no, there are plenty who can write beautifully if it's a tattoo, but that's because they treat it the same as drawing a picture, but they still have chicken scratch themselves.
