-82 Black people always say they should get the upper hand in things because their "people" had a hard past. Yet Jewish people aren't seen much differently even though their family members were tortured & not fed for years until they finally died slow deaths. They should BOTH get a little bit of slack cut, amirite?

Same goes for Native Americans

Supremacy is not equality.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol, look around. Jews are doing quite well for themselves...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It didn't happen to them personally though. We weren't there personally, torturing them and making them slaves, and they weren't there to be tortured. Put the past behind us.

Basically what I was going to say. Every race and every religion has been persecuted at some point in history, so there's no point in showing favor to a select few.

Honestly, I don't think black people run around 'expecting' an upper hand in things. I'm half black an don't go round demanding advantages because of things that happened in my ancestry in the past.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There must be more black amiriters than Jewish amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think we should just go back to the way things were. I'm tired of white males only having most of the power. It can't be just me. . . Anyone?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So because black people's ancestors were slaves, we should let them do whatever? Because Jews were abused and malnourished they should get a free ride? No. //everyone// should be treated the same, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How about we all be treated equally because history is full of fucked up things

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That'd be reverse racism. Which is still racism, so no problems would be solved and there would only be more discrimination.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I was with you until that last sentence. un

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well I'm white, but the first people on earth were black. So my ancestors are black, meaning I'm black. SO YEAH.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

People should be treated based on their individual merits and qualifications, not their race. Then we'd end up persecuting the people whose ancestor's pasts weren't so shitty, even more racism. No one can control their race, but we can all control our actions, so shouldn't our conscious choices be the things on which people judge us and base their opinions?
