He ruined his career the minute he went on Glee. That show is absolutely dreadful. Really, nobody gives a fuck about how well he can act. He's got a pretty face so he can star in anything he wants to. Welcome to the USA.

Actually, I happen to think he's an excellent actor - since AVPM and AVPS. that was long before he cut his hair and was percieved as "attractive". No, he did not ruin his career, he is now on Broadway. What, you think the people on Broadway hired him because he's got a nice face? No. He can act, sing, and dance extremely well. Stfu and know what you're talking about.

Yes, actually. Remember Susan Boyle? Wonderful voice. Remember that time she starred anywhere? I don't. I do know what I'm talking about and point is, the USA is a big pile of superficiality. The media could care less whether or not you can sing, act or dance. They make it all up. Notice how much autotune there is today? Have you noticed? You don't know what you're talking about, really. You're probably one of those "optimists". Be a realist and you'll see the world in the way that it is, and not for its has pretty colors.

I agree that there are many artists that make it out there without any talent. I'm just saying that Darren isn't one of them. He deserves everything he has, and sounds amazing live. I actually hate that Glee slightly autotunes his voice because it sounds so great without it. He works really hard on a very tight schedule but gives everything his best. He is an excellent musician with an amazing personality and loads of talent, and his hard work is paying off.
