I get the bestiality, sadism and necrophilia, but what's masochism got to do with it?

Oh, I've just heard the general practise reffered to as sado masochism, rather than seperating the sadism and masochism parts. This isn't my original joke - I heard it at work, and couldn't find it on the site, so I made the post.

Am I the only one that's disturbed at the fact that there were so many people doing it, that they actually had to come up with words for bestiality and necrophilia?
