People are very close minded on this issue. Yes, I regret to inform you, in any circumstance in which you take a picture, you are, by definition, a photographer. Being a photographer in itself doesn't make you a professional photographer. This is the equivalent of saying anyone without a label isn't a musician.

I agree with you there. I personally know rich kids with very expensive cameras who charge other people to take pictures of them, and call themselves "professionals" even though they're like 14 years old and are terrible at what they do. That's the point I was trying to get across with this post.
