This kid in my chorus class moved from Africa and the teacher got really excited and made him speak the language. He had moved nine years ago.

Ha, my town is in the middle of no where, it's shocking when someone from a different state moves here!

Mine used to be like that and nowadays, since we became one of the best school districts in the state and we're the suburb of a big city, a lot of people have started to move in. It's weird.

A few years ago, we had to build a new high school and they've recently been building a ton of elementary schools (which will lead to needing more middle schools and eventually, either another high school or extensions to the two we have). When my dad was in school, they had to combine three towns to make one high school.

Gosh dang!! That's insane! I couldn't even imagine growth like that where I'm from! My high school right now pulls from 9 small towns lol

I love it when small towns are super small like that. My uncle's (on my mom's side) graduating class had about 15 people in it. We're a small town family do it's weird when all these people start coming in. I used to know EVERYONE but now I see a ton of people I don't know in the halls.

Wow! 15 is small! I know! That's probably my favorite part of a small town, knowing everyone. When I go to college with a whole bunch of strangers I'm going to be a little intimidated. I'm too used to my safe niche.
