+181 the innocence of growing kids is starting to go away and soon, there will be no such thing as an 'innocent person', amirite?

An 11 year old on my bus said she was dtf the thee day. That is ridiculous! The only thing she should be down to do is play with barbies!!

The "innocence of children" was never really there. People used to get married and start families at 13, and work for money before then. The idea of "childhood innocence" is a relatively new one.

Sensationalism and slippery slope mindsets, on the other hand, are here to stay.
