That was terrible. There are just no other words for it. O.o.

I loved how it was supposed to cause controversy when all I could notice was how fucking stupid she looked.
by Anonymous12 years ago
What happened that would be controversial or offensive?
by Anonymous12 years ago
A lot of Catholics felt as if she was mocking them and that it was sacrilegious. They were offended that someone dressed up as the pope and that the dancers were dancing disrespectfully against the altar boys. A lot of Christians are attacking her for it. People felt that bringing religion up at the grammy's was the incorrect thing to do.
Personally, I don't really care much about it. I just think that she has no talent. Publicity is publicity and I would say she defiantly got it.

People are so easily offended these days. Try walking around London late on a Saturday night. It'll make Nicki Minaj look like Taylor Swift.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Taylor Swift may seem innocent, but she dated John Mayer at one point, and that dude is a freak. Just sayin'.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I just watched it.
I've never really liked her but, I dunno, I thought the concept was kind of neat. I've always liked corrupt religious motifs, though.
As for offensive... I don't know, not really. it's not any different from the way horror films have been capitalizing off the concept of exorcisms for the past, what? Forty years?
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't think it's very offensive either. It's just a peculiar form of entertainment. I liked it too.
by Anonymous12 years ago
It didn't offend my on any religious front at all.
But the performance was shit and I am disappointed.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Whatever she's trying to do with this new album isn't working.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Can someone tell me what happened?
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't know. The whole exorcism thing did not really offend me, and I'm a practicing Catholic. But that performance sucked anyway. It was just weird! And not creative weird, but creepy weird.
by Anonymous12 years ago
The exorcism wasn't the offensive part, it was just the fact that she had alter boys all over the stage and walked into the Grammys with a guy dressed like the Pope.
I'm a Catholic too so...yeah. Lol
by Anonymous12 years ago
Oh! I didn't see that. I fast-forwarded before I got to that. Yeah, that bothers me a bit.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Yeah. Now THAT is a tad ridiculous.
by Anonymous12 years ago
i was not offended at all, but that performance was shit. and it went on for like 10 minutes.
10 minutes of shit.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I didn't ever think it was offensive...it was just WEIRD. Painfully weird. The performance, the dancing, the song itself was all so over the top and obviously trying too hard to be out there and controversial but the truth was it just sucked. I hate that all these artists nowadays focus too heavily on making a statement and trying to create some sort of image, instead of just trying to make somewhat good halfway decent MUSIC.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Oh fuck, quit whining. If I bitched about people doing shit that offends me I wouldn't ever shut up. And honestly, if you get offended by that you're probably too uptight to function.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Fuck Illuminati.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Well with the way she dresses and the way she is trying to create controversy, it kind of seems like she is trying to be like Lady Gaga.
