The comments on the POTD are usually lame, repeated attempts at humor, hardly anything is original, and it's quite annoying having to see them every damn day
Sometimes POTD comments remind me of reddit. Everybody competes to be the wittiest commenter with the highest votes and loves. Usually the closest one to the top gets more votes than ones at the bottom.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great way to become noticed on amirite, but it's pretty obvious when a person is being an attention whore through POTD comments because they feel the need to comment on every single POTD.
