+149 You bought the game. You have a right to do what you want with it in-game. If you want to cheat, you'll cheat. If you want to play by the rules, you'll play by the rules. If you want to skip whatever levels or bonuses, you'll skip whatever levels or bonuses. If you want to collect those bonuses, you'll collect them. Who is anyone to tell you how to play the game? amirite?

Who says this isn't true?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Faggots who believe that there's only one way to play a game. It's sorta like people who scold others for preferring to watch television instead of preferring to read books.

Well, for me, if a game wants to succeed as an artistic medium it has to represent an experience created by an 'author' or 'director' in a way that's similar to books or movies - it has to represent a creator's artistic vision. So you can skip whatever levels you want, but it's akin to skipping chapters in a book or scenes in a movie.

But it's your choice. You bought the piece and you have a right to play however you want. It may confuse you, but you have that right.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Sorry, I didn't make that clear in my last sentence. You CAN skip whatever parts you want, but in my opinion it compromises the vision of the creator.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Then that's how you play a game, or read a book, or watch a movie. But would you scold people for doing otherwise?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not unless they complained about the experience afterwards.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, I can relate to that. Similarly, my friend today complained about being hungry. I offered to buy her food and she said she didn't want to get up. And then still complained about being hungry. I eventually went on my own to buy her food. It's just that feeling there...

I LOST THE GAME

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Maybe you should find a game you're better at, that way you won't lose all the time.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'd agree in all cases except online games, in which you can affect others experience.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah I agree to that. If it's going to affect another player's experience and they don't want it to, then I think it's pretty retarded to cheat and hack and all that.

Like hackers On MW3 on the wii! We do it cause it is fun for us and keeps it interesting even when we reach 10th prestige! :P
