They are completely different. Cricket is a lot more tactical then baseball and there are lot more factors that change the game. It takes more skill (personal opinion) and it is a hell of a lot more complicated then baseball. Baseball players are also wimpy. They catch the ball with a glove. Whereas a cricketer will stand two yards from the batter and catch it with their bare hands.

They're fairly similar. It generally comes down to your nationality, if you are from England, Australia, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, South Africa, West Indies, India, Pakistan etc. you will probably prefer cricket, but if you are from USA, Japan, Latin America etc. you will probably prefer baseball. But cricket is more bad-ass, because the feilders don't wear gloves (apart from the wicket keeper), and the ball is really hard just like a baseball.
