If a rich man, wearing a nice suit and a $500 watch, was robbed nobody would say it was blame him for what he was wearing; so why do people tell women to wear modest clothing to avoid rape, amirite?

Because an influential, successful rich man isn't easy to put blame on.

But an innocent, young girl/woman is.

Because women can't be trusted to make desicions for themselves.
