+297 If you were the guy to start the races in the Olympics, it would be funny to hold the gun that when fired begins the race in the air, and just wait. Test their composure a little. And when finally they do start confusedly looking around, fire the gun. It would be pretty mean but I guarantee that some patient Indian guy who otherwise would have no chance would be very thankful, amirite?

Are all your posts long, drawn out and really funny?

Yes wary

If they're in the Olympics, I'm sure no one is stupid enough to look around. They could use that extra time to mentally prepare themselves, perhaps.

That's why you take the false start if the gun person's being an ass about it. And then the ass is promptly removed from their position for being an ass.

if you false start you get disqualified...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The first false start is on the house.

Pretty much impossible for something like this to happen. First of all, in a race where starting blocks are NOT used, the competitors might be able to get frustrated and start looking around because they are in a standing position at the start, but once the gun goes off, it will make no difference because those races are half mile to 6 mile races (long distance), and the africans who run 4 minute mile pace for 3 miles can easily catch up. For guns that do use blocks, sprinting races, I GUARANTEE and indian guy would not even make it to the olympics. It's just ripped black guys from USA, Jamaica, France, England, etc, with one or two white guys. However, if you hold the gun shot even 1 second too long, one of them will most likely end up false starting, not looking around, because they are crouched on the starting blocks.

Also, they can't shoot the gun until everyone is completely still in they're blocks anyways

It's a fuckin' joke, shut up and enjoy

Sorry, I run track and it bugged me. Also I just realized I wrote they're instead of their... for shame

by Anonymous 11 years ago

...Why Indian?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Cause they are not known for their athleticism, most likely.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I guess, but he (or she) would at least have to be athletic enough to make it to the Olympics in the first place.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I don't think that would be funny.

Is it hard going through life without a sense of humor?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Is it hard being so close-minded to think that people who find different things funny to you don't have a sense of humour?
