Telling your boss that a relative died just to get a day off is fucked up, amirite?

I was going to tell a teacher I had to go to a funeral to get out of math class...after seeing this post I dont think I'll go through with it :( Florida can wait

That's not as bad as the situation I'm talking about. This dude (I know he said it cause I was there) told his boss or whoever at his work he was talking to, that he couldn't make it because his grandpa died, and he was acting like he was crying and shit. I know it was fake because he even told me he was lying. It was so fucked up.

How is lying about a funeral to get out of class better than doing it to get out of work?

It's not, because it's the same thing. To me at least.

Lol I wasn't going to go for the water works, I could never pull off the fake crying. I wasn't even going to do it in person, all I had to do was send an e-mail and I could be excused. Glad I didn't skip out though, we had a test review that day.

Well unless it's actually true

You should include lying somewhere in this post. Going to a funeral isn't fucked up...

The post says, "Just to get a day off." That means for the sole reason of missing work, not to actually go to a funeral.
