He did literally nothing to deserve credit. The CIA tracked him down and the SEALs took him out. All Obama did was say "go get him". That's like thanking Ronald McDonald for the cheeseburger.
Obama had other options, such as airstrike, continuing surveillance, armored attack. He could have done any number of things, but he chose to send the SEALs in to ensure and confirm the kill. He made a good decision.

no I would not, I am not a neo-con. I am a libertarian and I am not a fan of either Bush or Obama. but I will say that Obama is far worse than Bush.
