It's scary to think that if women decide to never give birth so that they can further their careers like men do today, we'll end up like aliens using other species as surrogates, amirite?
I mean like how now women want to use their education and are getting married and have children later. What if at some point all women decide to just stop and we need other species to maintain our existence.
Make a zygote, then implant it in a cow's uterus. It's been done to infertile women. This is a hypothetical situation where all women become voluntarily infertile.
have they ever tried it in a cow? I'd imagine that to grow a human inside of a cow may create a horrifyingly disgusting abomination that is if it even could live and grow there. that shit is just unnatural.
Of course it's unnatural. It works because the cow DNA never fuses wtith the human DNA. Even blood doesn't mix, but nutrients and waste are swapped through the placenta. The same was a chicken egg doesn't hatch into a giant snake because a frog sat on it. (or vice versa. I'm not sure about how to make a basilisk.)
No. The baby takes whatever nutrients it needs and cows are just heavy. A lot of them aren't that fat. And it had worked out pretty well when you can't gt a human surrogate.
Or we would just end up like Japan with a declining population growth.

wouldn't the human at least come out incredibly fat? I can't imagine that it would work out well.

yeah but compared to a human they have so much more fat on their bodies. I would not want to live in a world were such a thing would have to happen.
