It's interesting how today we think that things in the past used to be so much cheaper (i.e., things costing quarters, and dimes, etc.). However, in that time, that was actually a lot of money. It's even more interesting to think that 100 years from now, the $20 dollar bill to us might be like the penny to them in the future, amirite?

It's like that when the Americans purchased Louisiana. Back in the 1800's, they claimed it for 15 million dollars. That doesn't seem like much especially since it's so fucking huge. Today, that would be worth like 233 million dollars since money has greatly increased.
