At this point I don't know if it's even a question anymore

(-_-) to the window (/-_-)/ to the wall. Till sweat drips down my balls. Till all these bitches crawl... Seems legit.

I lost all faith in the music industry when "I wanna fuck you" was written.

Courtesy Of The Red, White And Blue does that for me.

There's a song from the 20s about a woman singing about her large nipples. There's always gonna be some weird shit out that, that doesn't mean it reflects on society.

And now there are thousands of songs about women's body parts (mainly rap), so it definitely could reflect the way society is moving

"Some songs just make you question whether our society is heading in the right direction or not, amirite?" -me

Oh my gosh. You stated it as if it were fact and still are... obviously this is an opinion site. You're attacking mine. I'm not talking at all about a certain kind of music... you just made that part up. You said "no song reflects society." That cannot be true. Every song is written by a human and about humans. How can it not reflect some part of our society? It's what we listen to and relate to!

Your last part didn't make any sense -_- but anyways, this post was made when the "inspired by" link was right next to it; I made it as a joke with that song. Thank you for taking it seriously and trying to start a discussion, though

Yeah, and there are thousands of songs about love too. And brand new shoes. And murder. Doesn't mean society is like that. And people have been singing about sex for ages, even if that did reflect on society we're not moving that way, we're already there.

Just to open up old wounds.. I'm not talking about one type of music or noise. As a whole, music represents society. There are different genres, just as there are different characteristics in one society. You were attacking by trying to start an argument after I said the post was a joke, not an actual discussion. Also, I am calm and I am not a man. And obviously there is truth to what I am saying --look at the posts' score

Getting people to agree with you doesn't mean it's the truth. That doesn't make any sense that you would claim that considering their post is also in the positives and says the opposite of what yours does. Music is personal and is a reflection of the person who wrote the lyrics, to be a reflection of society everyone in our society would have to be the same or there would have to be no conflicting song meanings between any songs.

It DOESN'T say the opposite of mine. It says the opposite of what she THOUGHT mine meant. The people who got my post and how it was meant to be taken agreed with me. I'm not arguing this anymore cause I really don't see how music can't reflect some part of society. Good day

I didn't even see the link. I still don't see it. Anyway, what I mean is society isn't moving toward being all sexy, we're there.

How does a few famous people, who are notorious for being dipshits, a reflection of society as a whole, as if the majority listen to that kind of music anyway? Obviously it's an opinion. I would have thought, being on a site for opinions, that wouldn't need to be pointed out -.-

No, it's what YOU listen to and relate to. It'd only be what we listen to and relate to if everyone listened to the same thing and if everyone listened to music. No one is attacking you, just disagreeing with you. Calm down man. I never said "this is a fact", stating anything without telling you "this is my opinion first" doesn't mean it's being stated as fact. Also: http://amirite.net/723452
