The post means that instead of two people fighting whether macs (as in macbooks) or windows (as in pcs) are better, they should be deciding whether they want to work at mcdonalds making big macs or want to clean windows. Sounds kinda lame after explaining it, I know.

But if you have technical knowledge, then you'll know they are equal. Mac is useful for grapic design, music and mostly arts stuff. Windows is better for technical work, which is why even Apple uses Windows. I prefer Windows, but I recognise that Mac has it's merits. The prices are undisputably ridiculous,though. Comparing them as OSs is like comparing watermelons and tomatoes as fruits. A watermelon is meant mostly for thirst quenching, while tomatoes are meant mostly for sauce and salads, despite their watermelon-like water content. I prefer watermelons, but tomatoes are also good fruits.

Technical work as in coding and the like. Also hammering out non-graphical documents. I don't have sources, but I've see photos, which I probably wouldn't believe if I didn't see the computers they use behind the counters at Apple resellers (there are no real Apple stores in Singapore). May have changed since Steve Jobs dying made Apple insecure.
