It took you longer than it should have to realize that the "okay" symbol is what it is because it literally spells "ok" with your hand, amirite?

I didn't know until I saw this post, lol.

The first time I saw it I thought to myself "Why does that mean okay? That's stupid. I guess you're making a circle with your thumb and finger, so that's an O, is the next part supposed to be K? Whoever invented this gesture must have had a severely disfigured hand if that's supposed to be a K"
