I understand Animal Planet wants to attract a wider audience by being "surprisingly human" and having shows with humans and animals, but if someone wants to watch shows about people, they can click to any other channel, I want to see more animal centered shows on ANIMAL planet, amirite?

Nope, because if TV only showed bananas on every channel, but channel 4 was about bananas taming strawberries and getting eaten by watermelons, only channel 4 would be the Fruit Channel. Just humans isn´t enough.
