Women complain how they don't have equal rights but you seldom see an 'I Heart Balls' bracelet. Amirite?

I have an I <3 Balls bracelet... also I have one that says "Ask Me About My Weaner."

Testicular cancer has nothing to do with rights. Cancer in general doesn't have anything to do with you know, the law, outside of medical laws. Maybe you're referring to social bias, but no one I've seen has publicly called testicular cancer a joke or less important.
If you're really passionate about helping the cause, it's probably a better investment to actually donate to cancer programs instead of buying a $4-$10 rubber bracelet, of which stores need to take profit out of, and Keep a Breast hardly donates a lot of that money to cancer research.
I hope you know that most people wearing these bracelets don't give a shit about the cause, they're just doing it because it's a trend. Just because 15 year olds aren't seen with an "I heart balls" bracelet on, whoops, I guess some people shouldn't complain about,I don't know, having legal rights.

It's a joke.

Oh. I guess I need to update my sarcasm detector then; it completely went over my head.

Are you implying that just because there's not an extremely popular campaign for "I Heart Balls" bracelets that men are the ones who usually get the short end of the stick when it comes to sexism?
by Anonymous11 years ago
If you look in the categories is says 'Joke'.

My bad.

Because sexualisation of women is so prominant, it even applies to their medical conditions?
(Also, just because something is a joke, doesn't mean it is immune to being sexist).
by Anonymous11 years ago
That's exactly what it means

I keep seeing posts on this topic, but I haven't really many girls complaining about equal rights...where are they? I'm a girl, and I have no complaints.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I think they make them, but they're not as popular for obvious reasons. I mean come on, who doesn't love boobs?
