You know you're getting older when you stop calling them "boy/girl parties," amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
Parties? Do you per chance mean parts? Or do you actually have single-sex get-togethers?
by Anonymous11 years ago
no, its a party. Like when boys & girls would go.

Oh. Hm. I always just called those "parties". Thanks, though.

its what most people say when they're little, not now though.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I've never heard of that.

This happened for me in late elementary school, I don't think I was getting significantly older at that point.
How about, "You know you're getting older when you have a mortgage and need to pay for your own dental visits, amirite?"

Or "You know you're getting older when your family leaves you to die in a home, amirite?"

"You know you're getting older when your age is a higher number than it was before, amirite?"

"You know you're getting old when you have to wear diapers again"
