+354 You tend to become more introverted around extremely social people, and more extroverted around reserved people. Amirite?

Personally I do that because my extremely social friends are constantly talking, screaming over each other, and because they were in band whereas I quit after sixth grade, so they're always talking about inside jokes and stories I wouldn't know. And then with my quiet friends I'm like this is boring...can someone say something, and that's when I become the social one.

No, I am an introvert. In all situations. I don't change who I am based on the people around me. Sure, sometimes I'll step back from the conversation if other people are domineering it, and I'll occasionally try and get people talking if no one else is, but I'm always more entertained by my own thoughts. Am I making any sense? There's a certain amount of conversation I enjoy. If there's too much talking, then I'm not going to add to that, and if there's not enough, then I'm going to get that started up. In that sense, I'm exactly the same around all sorts of people.

I completely freeze around loquacious friends; but I could tell my quiet friends anything in the world, no inhibitions.

It's the opposite for me.
