+157 There would probably be laws against using a time machine to go back in time to times when, for example, a single tulip were worth a fortune, amirite?

Time macne* Most amirite users will understand.^

Yeah. i usually only do that in comments. I want my actual posts to be done properly.

A fortune back when a tulip was worth a fortune probably isn't much now

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It wasn't in money. One bulb wa like many pounds of cheese and I think a few animals and yes , some gold

by Anonymous 11 years ago

i guess the gold but the cheese and animals wouldn't help you much unless you are a farmer

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Sell them.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Still not that much maybe a few thousand for the animals if you are lucky

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah, but for just //one// bulb. You buy a thousand of them at a flower shop and you'll be a millionaire if you sell them slowly.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

They will become less expensive with every one you sell

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That's why you sell them slowly.

Alrights let's just agree to disagree

There would probably be laws against time travel in general if it existed.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You would think going back in time and changing the past to alter the present would be a bigger issue. If tulips became worth a lot, everyone would just go get one from the past until they became worthless.

I think maybe someday they'll be able to send people to mars and send people to the core of the earth. Who knows? But the one thing they'll NEVER be able to do is time travel. You can't have it for every single millisecond that's ever happened on this earth. And what about before the earth was made? We still don't know how the universe got here. And the most intelligent species to ever live (humans) probably won't live long enough to figure it out.

Time travel wouldn't be traveling back in time but moving to a different timeline which ' lags' behind ours or is further along than ours.
