Saying "No homo" is just confessing that you aren't human in Latin, amirite?

Homo means same, not human.

it can mean both. homo sapien means "wise human", homo being the human bit.

Well, I thought we used homo because it is the "same" species as us. We were naming all of our cousins homo erectus and homo habalus because they were about the same as us, and then homo came to mean human. But I guess it could be the other way around.

Homo means "human" in Latin. Homo means "same" in Greek.

That's a funny joke, and I hate to be the one to do this, but "no" is not correct here. "Homo non" (or "non homo") would be correct Latin, understanding that the "sum" is left out.
"No homo" is more like confessing that you aren't human in Latinglish.
