There are a countless number of things that could happen after death that don't have anything to do with religion, and we won't know what it is until we die, amirite?

Well death is never ending. So technically it could be unless you try to summarise it as only a complete action once it's done happening. In which case death can never happen.

Heres good way to think about it. Think about what things felt like before you were born. It's exactly like that.
