It's nice to have a little tan, but this much is basically asking for skin cancer and leather skin in 20 years time. amirite?

It looks like her whole body in a shadow, with one little slither of light.

She looks fried. Her skin is practically screaming "Melanoma"

not to be a knowitall but skin cancer comes mainly(not always) from burns severe burns or lots of them over time. If you don't burn and get super dark it means your skin has a lot of melanin so your body is able to tan a lot more and not burn and not get leathery skin..

Actually, you don't have to burn for the UV rays to cause damage to your skin. And the melanin that makes you tan is only produced because it's the skin's way to trying to protect itself from more damage. It takes time. Obviously you aren't going to get leather skin or skin cancer after tanning or being burnt once. Consistent exposure to sun and being tanned WILL age your skin and increase risk of cancer. just sayin

thats true but burns and low melanin levels increase your chances by A LOT. how many africans who live and work in the sun all day have you heard of getting skin cancer. its still possible, since cancer's a random mutation but what i meant is that if you're able to get that dark, you're probably not that likely to get skin cancer
