+303 If you think it'd be hard explaining vegetarianism to an African child, imagine trying to tell them about how we take shits in clean water. amirite?

A lot of children in Africa are vegetarians.

Tell me, what kind of African do you think he's referring to?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

he/she said afican child as if every fucken african child is starving. Every continent has starving children, not just africa.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'm going to guess the non vegetarian ones

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Oh and I know plenty of African children that take shits in clean water.

Wow, ok, I really didn't think I needed to specify what kind of African child, considering its kinda implied, but it's now clear to me that not everyone is smart enough to understand. My bad. I meant to say, extremely poor starving African children who don't have any food to eat or clean water to drink. Also, I am well aware that other continents have starving kids too. I was just using Africa as an example.

Why would it be hard to explain vegetarianism to an African kid?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It would be difficult because vegetarianism involves picking and choosing to have a meat-free diet, as opposed to one containing meat. It is the thought of passing up a chance of an available meal (either full of meat, or free of meat) that would make the concept of vegetarianism so difficult to explain.
