+381 How do you know if someone is a 90's kid? Dont worry; they'll fucking tell you, amirite?

So does the term "90's kid" mean that you were born in the 90s or that you actually had you childhood during them?

Considering how people always yell about people born in '97 or later not being "real" 90s kids (even if they remember everything that supposedly makes you a "real" 90s kid by remembering), I would say grew up in the 90s. y

'93 or later are not real 90's kids. Someone born in 1996 has the same status of someone born in 1997 or even 1998. 1983-1992 are 90's kids only.

It seems to me that it should be born in the 90s, but I suppose if you were born in the late 90s, you'd be more of a "90s baby".

The standard is that people born in the 80's are 90's kids 1990-1992 = Reached age 7 in the late 90's, so 90-92 claiming the 90's is perfectly fine. They spent more of their childhood in the 90's then they did in the 2000s. 90-92 are 90's kids. 1993-1995 = Reached age 4 in the late 90's, but missed the cut, and didn't spend enough time as kids in the 90's, and spent a majority of their childhood in the 2000s. 93-95 are 2000s kids. 1996-1999 = They were only babies and toddlers in the 90's. Only if they want to remember saying "goo goo ga ga", wearing diapers, and drinking breastmilk... LMAO!!! 96-99 are 2000s kids without a doubt.

The 90's were overrated.

This reminds me of the joke: How do you know someone's a Harvard graduate? They tell you.

In order to be a 90's kid, you need to turn 7 in the 90's. Early Childhood = 4-6 Mid Childhood = 7-9 Late Childhood = 10-12 People born in 1993, 1994, and 1995 may have started childhood in the late 90s, but they still spent a majority of thier childhood in the 2000s and very little time in the 90s. Someone born in 1978, 1979, and 1980 may have gone into late childhood in the 90's, but they still spent a majority of their childhood in the 80's and very little in the 90's. People born in 1981 and 1982 might be 80's and 90's hybrids, but the standard is that people born in 1991 and 1992 are more of 90s kids. In order to be a 90's kid, you have to be born after 1982 and before 1993. 1983-1992 are 90's kids only.
