The problem with most Christians is that many of them believe god is just an an omnipresent servant ready to do our bidding. God is not like that, if god is real, he is not someone who serves to do what we ask of him. You cannot claim to be a christian and then denounce his existence solely on the basis that you did not get what you asked for. amirite?
My understanding of religion is that God acts for the better good and that it requires faith. You should still have faith even if things don't go your way and you should realize just cuz you wish it doesn't make it for your better good.
When I got to the "God is not like that, if god is real, he is.." part, I had a sudden flashback to the futer post. It was the sentence structure or something.

God has a plan. We usually don't understand it, but he knows what's best for us and what to give and not to give us.
well duh

The problem with christians is that they believe in an imaginary non existant deity.
I have no problem with that as long as not everything in that book is interpreted literally.
