It might be useful to have a "Top Comments" feature on this site, where users could choose in their settings if they want the two highest scoring comments shown directly beneath the post on the Home/Just In page. This would help users decide if the clicking on the post is worth it...

This would help users decide if the clicking on the post is worth it, and it would probably encourage more people to join the discussion. At the very least, the laziest of us will appreciate it, amirite?

I like this idea, but I think it would take up too much space on the homepage, especially since the posts are really big now. I kind of liked it better when they were thinner. But this way is more elegant, I think.
