I don't know if this is global, but outside IKEA in Beijing there are all these peasants who offer to help you get it to your house and assemble it all for you. My boyfriend and I did it once, it was awesome, and the service only cost us about 25 dollars.
I really like some of Ikea's individual furniture pieces but I feel like a lot of their rooms are too contemporary and not as eclectic as if you got all the accessories and furniture from different stores.
I like how they actually put books and stuff in the demo rooms, so you can hang out in there and pretend you live there.
But then I'd have to put it together.

Perhaps they took offence to the word "peasant" hahaha
I did that. It was pretty inexpensive and easy to put together, and now my room looks awesome
inexpensive? for everything in the room?!
Well compared to if I bought it all somewhere else. And I guess it wasn't everything because I already had a tv and comforter and some pictures

that's a fair point. I like fitting out a room with individual bits and pieces. I guess Ikea is just for those who LOVE the convenience
I think you can order the whole room. At least every single thing in the picture granted you have an empty room to put it in.
