I have to say, amirite has a great community. One of the best I've come across.

You can ask a mod to delete them for you after the edit/delete period. Depending on your reason for wanting it deleted ("It got voted down" would //not// be a good one, for example), they'll usually take it down for you. That's one of the great things about the community. You ask for help and actually get it, unlike some websites.

I love how all posts get approved, and the bad ones are filtered out. On FML, only the best ones get approved, making everything else seem inadeqate.

I love the community. It's like a big, dysfunctional family. You've got creepy uncles, annoying pre-teens, people who cause arguments over everything, and then there's Anthony, the patriarch who manages to keep everyone from killing each other.

I think it's more like annoying teenagers and preteens who think they're just so quirky and unique because they can relate to everyone what with their "It suxxx when ur phone diess amirte???" and "ppl who use ereaderz r annoyinggg they arent REAL readrz -__- amriitei?/", and then above them is the occasional smart person. And then Anthony's just a person who just does stuff for the website. He's not a god. I don't see why people treat him as such.

When it comes to amirite, he really is "god," if you will. He controls everything on the website. He has the power to totally change or delete it on a whim. And in my experience, there are actually very few people like that. The majority is intelligent, somewhat nerdy people who just like having healthy discussions.

In my experience, half the posts on the front page are like that. Just with better grammar. The majority here seem to be very ignorant of topics they claim to know a lot about.
