Also, I'm not talking about celebrities or people you would hear about on TV and in magazines- I'm more talking about "real" people like ones that go to your school and the like.

Stories like the above aside - I have to stand up a bit for those poor outcasts (not the thief above, he's a twat and deserved what he got). There are quite a lot of times when people hating someone contributes to a vicious cycle where the more people that hate them sends them into a lower spiral causing more hate etc etc. There's also a single event that, misunderstood and wrongly relayed, can cause universal hatred of someone and that person might never have the chance to tell their side of the story. That's happened to me before. People's lives can be so complicated, and more often than not, in my opinion, what those hated people need more than anything is a true friend.
