-76 Most accents are actually not that attractive. amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I can't express how much this post upsets me. There is a post on the homepage (made it there just before you posted this) that says "Accents are always attractive" and is heavily in the negative. So you throw out the opposite knowing it is going to get a good response. Really the only word I can use to describe this kind of thing is petty.

I barely make posts on this website. You made a blank assumption that I made this post in response to the one on the homepage. A lot of people don't read through all the homepage posts and then make one. I honestly didn't see the post man. I skimmed through the homepage and maybe subconsciously picked it up but I definitely didn't make an opposite post to get a lot of up votes. You made your comment simply to get up votes and feel good about yourself. That's a blank assumption. Kind of annoying right? You should change your name. Scientist isn't fitting for you.

You've made 247 post. How is that barely any? And it's interesting that you say I'm making a blind assumption and then you say I'm just going for upvotes. I made my hypothesis based on observations I had made. Very scientific. You made your assumption based off of an emotional response and you have nothing to back up your statement. Then you tell me to change my name based off of one comment that I made on a post. Again blind assumption. If you did just a tad bit of research on my profile you will see that I have made comments like this on many post and always downvote post that are facts, or exact opposites of negative post. So not only did you blindly assume, you did so lazily and it caused you to be wrong. If this post truly was a coincidence that's fine. But I remain skeptical.

I love Italian accents! They just sound so happy and delightfully sleazylicious.

Does anyone know where Desmond's accent (the character from Lost) is from? I've always wondered but I never paid enough attention to the show to catch the detail of where he's from.
