I think there are a lot more agnostics than atheists Also you have to keep in mind there's a difference between atheist and non-religious. idk I found this article and it's kind of interesting http://theweek.com/article/index/226625/the-rise-of-atheism-in-america

I'm aware. Still, only 5% of Americans claim disbelief in God, and only a quarter of them are committed enough to call the,selves atheists (which is how I arrived at the 1.25% figure).
