So that's what water looks like!
Thanks OP for putting up a picture, I wouldn't be able to understand the post otherwise.
The picture was to emphasize just how how much water there really is... & plus it looks nice.
This entire post is just so...absolutely fucking terrible. The other day, I was walking around the Earth, and since it is 71% water, I tripped and almost drowned, because it isn't like 29% of something as big as Earth is still fucking huge. Also, swimming is great to have as a means of transportation; the other day I just up and swam the fucking Pacific Ocean to get to Asia.
Uncalled for. I never personally insulted you.
It's a picture of a guy drowning
Or just stay on the 29% of land.
I think the point was that with so much of it around, it can go pretty much anywhere, so swimming is a useful skill to have.
Plus melting and ice caps and all that, but I don't think that's what OP was referring to.
Since when can water get up and go anywhere?
Floods...
Boats.
Yeah, because boats never sink or anything; and people always have convenient boats around them when flash flooding occurs.
People can just stand on their roof.
And then what? wait there with no food and drinkable water until the flood water subsides? Sounds easier to just learn how to swim.
What do you mean no food? They can fish.
Floods, tsunamis, storms, being the most destructive force on Earth.
Okay, move to Oklahoma.
Rivers, bro.
Vegas.
Mountains have snow on them.
Cool story bro.
But there arent any mountains in vegas.
There are mountains in Nevada, though. If there was enough force, the water could somehow reach Vegas. Maybe.
Oh, and there's always rain.
Long story short J_A_C_K, just learn how to swim. Seriously, it sounds a shit load of a lot cheaper than moving to and living in Vegas.
Are you kidding? Do you even have any idea how much swimming lessons cost?
Actually, yes I do. I just put my 8 year old in swimming lessons. $130 without membership at our local YMCA.
& FYI she went from being terrified of being near open water to being a little fish in the ocean.& plus they taught her the basic lifeguard/water safety rules.
