+135 Let's imagine you are fan of a band, bought tickets for their concert in 2-3 months and they release their new album before... You sincerely hope that you will like it cause they'll be playing the new songs on the concert, amirite?

Who would ever not hope to like a new album by a band you like enough to buy tickets to see live. This post is just really obvious. Nobbody is going to no way this. you might as well ask "you have to breathe to live, amirite?".

I think he means more than usual. He's asking if the concert thing will increase your desire to like the new album.

As in it may, by placebo effect, make you like the album more than otherwise? That makes sense to me.

I meant that you know an album will come out before the concert, and you want to like it becauser then you won't lose faith in your favorite band. But if you have the concert tickets, then your want to like the album will be greater, because I you dOnt then you will also have wasted your money.

Usually bands put out their new CD and then tour so people can know their songs. If they occasionally do that "this one is from our new album - hope you like it!" they usually follow it with one of their really popular singles that everyones knows so they get pumped up again just in case they lose interest.

I discovered amirite yesterday, and I like how an opinion can lead to a nice discussion, when you never even thought people would actually read this! The band I'm referring to is Billy Talent by the way.

I bought One Direction tickets over a year before the concert and months before their second album came out. No regrets.

Yes, you will hope for this, but 9 times out of 10 you will be dissapointed. I don't know if you've noticed or not, but most bands sounds llke fucking shit live. Especially in statidums.
