Oh. :( I wanted to say "The only thing ridiculous here is your spelling," but I feel like that would be redundant now.

Love the warriors, hate the wars.

That's not the same as idolizing. I respect veterans who, after fighting in the war, turn to antiwar activism after realizing that they committed countless atrocities under orders and that it wasn't "serving our country" but instead serving the corporations that now have a majority of the political power. Matthis Chireaux is one such person, and he has maintained that he is less of a man today because of what he did in Iraq.

Watch "Born on the 4th of July" starring Tom Cruise is a wonderful lesson in this "veterans who, after fighting in the war, turn to antiwar activism after realizing that they committed countless atrocities "

"they make sure that the battlefield stays away from the country." what about the innocents who are in /on the battlefield? there is a bigger picture here...

In many cases the wars far from serve the country, instead serving the interests of oil companies and the like. To truly serve the country would be to take a significant portion of the billions that are currently being spent on the military and redirect it toward education, health care, and infrastructure. It will create more jobs of better quality than killing hundreds of thousands of innocents, using torture tactics, and leaving many communities without so much as clean water to treat sickness due to sanctions.
