+69 Girls underestimate how much it hurts to be kicked in the balls, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'm not a guy so I don't fully understand, but yeah I find it annoying that some girls think that if you can't give birth then your pain is invalid.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I don't think the pain is invalid, I just don't see how it could possibly be worse than giving birth. In most cases, guys are able to walk it off after a short while (I am sure this in not the case in most cases) but it takes women a lot longer to recover from the pain of child birth. It is both a higher degree of pain and has a much longer recovery time.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The problem is that you can't just dismiss the pain because it's LESS painful than something else. Giving birth is probably less painful than certain torture methods, but that wouldn't give anyone the right to dismiss the pain of child birth. If something is painful, it's just painful. It's fine to say something really really hurts if it really does. There shouldn't be this kind of comparison

Where did I ever dismiss the pain of getting kicked in the balls?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You didn't. What I'm getting at is that such a proposal as yours (comparing it to child birth), is tantamount to saying "well, it's not as painful as childbirth so get over it" - and I think that's a bit of an unfair comparison.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Nowhere did I say for anyone to get over it. Pain is still pain, no matter how little or how much and it shouldn't be dismissed. No, I don't think it would hurt as much as childbirth, but I did say that I am sure it does hurt. The reason I compared it to childbirth is because I was responding to brought it up. I even said that their pain is not invalid.

*(I am sure this is not the case is SOME cases)

guys underestimate how much it hurts to give birth, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Read my other question.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I don't underestimate it. I can acknowledge that it probably hurts a fuckton for a woman to give birth. And it's pretty obvious that childbirth hurts more than a ball kick. However, just because childbirth is more painful doesn't mean a kick in the nuts, or other types of injury, aren't extremely painful.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

And in no ways warrants a kick in the balls.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Also, there is a lot of menstral pains girls have which guys don't even realize exists.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I've never been kicked in the balls cuz I don't have any, but I'd imagine it hurts more than period cramps, and I have endometriosis so cramps are pretty painful imo. Some girls have painful periods, it hurts all guys to be kicked in the balls.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

This type of thing works both ways. Guys have pains, feelings, emotions and thought-processes that women can't understand or imagine either. So let's just agree we're human, we're different, and no one is better or worse than anyone else!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah I guess, I have an extremely high tolerance to pain so it's kind of hard for me to imagine something like that being THAT painful, but then again I am a girl and can't deny that I have no idea what it feels like.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Lol at deciding you have an EXTREMELY high pain tolerance. Really? Just decided did you?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Well yes, I guess I did. Am I supposed to get evaluated by a professional and have written documentation supporting that before I can make such a claim? If that's the case then I am terribly sorry, I must have no idea about my own pain tolerance.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

well, no but some experience of pain would be a good "CV" on the subject...any stories?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Of course! I guess I'll go with my most recent one. A few months ago I had a bad break in my hand. I went about a week with my hand broken before someone told me to see a doctor. I didn't think it was broken because it didn't hurt but I went anyway. Turns out it was broken and started to heal back together wrong, so I needed surgery, where I'd be completely knocked out, have my hand rebroken and have pins put in it to hold the bones in place. I asked if there was anyway I could have my hand rebroken and put back in place without going under anesthesia or having surgery. He said he has dealt with this kind of break enough that he could rebreak my hand and put the bone in the right place with his own hands, but that he wasn't comfortable doing that to me because it would be very painful. But I convinced him. He numbed my hand a little bit, and broke my hand and put it back together. I could feel everything, but it didn't hurt. My dad almost passed out watching it lmao. & I think the doctor thought I was nuts lol

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Umm maybe you explained it in that way, but it doesn't sound like you have a high pain tolerance. It sounds a bit like you can't feel pain in the right way. If the doctor grabbing your hand and breaking it 'didn't hurt' you could easily have severe nerve degeneration.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Well he did numb my hand a little, enough that I could still feel it but it wouldn't be as painful. I asked him why he tried to talk me out of it when it was a piece of cake, and he said nothing about the possibility of me having nerve degeneration, but just that everyone has different sensitivity and pain tolerance, and that I happened to be more tolerant of pain than he'd expected. I'm not claiming that I never feel pain, I'm just saying I've had lots of it and can take it pretty well. I'm really not trying to brag either so I apologize if that's how it came off.

Some girls kick you in the balls as a joke and start laughing, as if it was some sort of joke. That pisses me off so much, they don't understand!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The guys I hang out with kick EACH OTHER in the balls as a joke. Some people are weird.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Us girls underestimate the pain of getting kicked in the balls, but guys underestimate the pain of getting punched in the boob... It's horrible and hurts for a looooong time

by Anonymous 11 years ago

When a guy is kicked in the balls, the acute pain lasts for a short duration, and then a following soreness, which hurts at every movement ensues following for a period of time directly related to how hard you were kicked

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Guys, really? All the question was was don't girls underestimate how much it hurts to be kicked in the nuts. Girls, no need to bring your little complaints about your menstrual crap on this. I don't care if you girls have babies. A lot of you don't even do. And even if you do have babies, most of you are unconscious having a C section done. Another thing, as it is a natural thing, you EXPECT to one day have one. The outcome to it is good; Life. For guys, no one EXPECTS to be whacked in the balls. And besides the extreme pain, it could lead to losing the ability to reproduce. Just quit your whining, I don't know a single girl who doesn't use these kind of excuses.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah , we don’t know what it’s like to be kicked in the balls at the same time you don’t know what a period is like ect.
