Probably because Americans seem to get more crap that Brits or Australians, in my opinion. And yes I am American, so it might just be that I notice it more with Americans than with Brits or Australians.

Yes, because those two American girls can act for the whole country. In general, I would say all the countries all basically react the same. Our cultures are similar enough where there won't be too big of a difference.
