Also about Philosophy+33Gods only exist within the human imagination, amirite?
Also about work and learn+67People learn things/lessons once they are ready to learn them. Not when you want them to; not when YOU feel they have to. Hence "advice" is seldom well received. So offer it, and if it doesn't work it's just not the right time. We often have to experience something to really learn from it. Amirite?
Also about work+246The internet went down for three hours this morning, plunging the nation into productivity. The outrage, which caused major work startages from New York to California, prevented an estimated 120 million American employees from messing around on the web at work. amirite?
Also about smart, work, and learn+223Some girls need to learn that "Oh yeah, I'm such a nerd, I read all the time, teehee" doesn't work on that cute, smart guy if all they read is Cosmo and bathroom graffiti, amirite?
Also by Shrike+111It seems when arguing, many people don't really try to see the opposing side's arguments, which results in neither side learning anything. Even if you still disagree with their argument it's always good to understand the reasoning behind it. amirite?
Also about smart and work+267It's annoying that you have to be viewed as the "really smart kid" in highschool just because you do your damn work. You don't have to be really smart to do well in school, you just have to be smart enough to know what's more important. A lot of people do bad in school because they are on facebook all day instead of doing homework or never show up to class. amirite?
Also about Philosophy-63Its easier to point a finger then lift one, amirite?
Also about work and learn+204It's stupid for a commercial to advertise that if you buy their product they'll donate a laptop to a needy kid in Africa because it'll "help them learn." Books help people learn too and they don't require having electricity or internet to make them work. These companies should spend more resources trying to help these kids survive rather than try and Americanize them with stupid electronic devices, amirite?
Also about smart and intelligent+58most intelligent people see themsleves as idiots, whilst people with weaker cognitive abilities often think themselves as smart and intelligent, amirite?
Also about learn+41Animals (not including humans) only have to learn basic survival skills, while humans are required to go to school where they learn mostly only useless information which will not serve any purpose to them whatsoever ever. amirite?
Also about smart, knowledge, and intelligent+100You know, people always write about how naive they were a year or two ago. In reality, their knowledge hasn't changed that much. Your mind just tends to forget all the smart and intelligent stuff you thought about, and remembers the stupid things you did that embarrass you. You can't gain that much knowledge in just a year or two to justify how naive you think you were compared to now. We seriously sometimes don't give ourselves enough credit, amirite?
Also about Philosophy-67If killing animals for taste is right then why killing them for fun is wrong. amirite?
