Whenever i have to do a presentation in uni i volunteer to go first because i know that everyone is too busy thinking about their own presentation to listen to me, plus then when everyone else does theirs i can just relax.

I think going right after someone who had a REALLY good presentation is the worst time. Best time to go is right after someone else fucks up.

I'd still probably choose first over last. At least with first you know that everyone else is still nervous, you set the standard for the others, and then you get to sit and chill while everybody else goes. Last is only good if the presentations make up two or more days. This allows you to go home and adjust your presentation to fit or be better than the people who went before you. Last presentation on the same day means you get to sit there the whole time thinking, "fuck fuck fuck! I didn't cover shit these people are covering and I have no time to properly change it!"
