@1850275

didn't realize it before, but it kinda does look a bit like Dahl's stuff

the image is Face The Monster by Frits Ahlefeldt

Really does have that Quentin Blake feel to it.

Did anyone else notice the unnecessary repitition or how retarded it makes the post sound?

phooey d smilie

the repetition is to show the solution to fears can be pretty simple

that our imagination is making the fears out to be more scary than they really are

A great way to face something head on is to face it head on? Ya I can see there must be a deeper meaning to your poor diction.

It's called repetition

Just because you don't get it
Doesn't mean it's retarded as you previously said

@fuzala You gotta do what you gotta do It is what it is

You're being stubborn right? That's a much better option than actually believing you're right. "The best way to eat using a fork is by using a fork." just like your post my quote, while true, is relevant, unnecessarily repetitive, and sounds stupid.

Maybe you're the one being stubborn

I didn't say repetition works with everything
The example you gave isn't a good comparison because forks don't usually cause major issues like fears

Repition is a rhetorical device like the two examples I gave

it works sometimes

@fuzala *repetition

You can't possibly believe you are right here! No ones that simple! Repitition can definitely work sometimes. But here it's just poor grammar that ruins the post. Here's another equal repitition, 'the best way to deal with mental illness by talking about it is by talking about it.' get it now?

an example that would fit the way I did it wouldn't be what you said

it'd be "the best way to deal with illness is to deal with illness"

but yeah I can see somewhat what you're talking about d smilie

No I promise you in a non argumentative way my example was better. In your post you said 'the best way to handle X (the solution) is by doing (the solution)' where X is monsters and (the solution) is facing them head on. In my example I also said 'the best way to deal with X (the solution) is by (the solution)' with X being mental illness and (the solution) being talking about it. In your own example you didn't put a solution to the problem and that's the part that needs to be repeated.
