I'm implying it's a possibility that a gossiper may gossip about you too it's a very vague post I didn't say the gossiper was a friend I didn't say if the gossiper was gossiping about other friends to another friend just a general situation to think about

Understood. Personally, I do my best to avoid saying "she stabbed her in the back" or "he was talking shit the whole time" because it has such a vile and often times, misleading connotation to it. I prefer to repeat what was said verbatim, including tone inflection, just so I present as accurate an idea of what happened as possible. It's my guilty pleasure :P

I just avoid it all together If I don't like something I'll go talk to the person about it or I'll just keep it with me because it might not be a big deal and if someone has a problem, they should go tell that person saying bad things about them to me isn't helping anyone it's causing a lot of hostility and harm if someone is speaking ill of someone else and telling me, I'll try to defend the person if someone wants advice they can tell me the situation without giving out any names and if someone is a threat to me then, I would like a warning
