As this is true with many religions, I've found that it is often a practice of only the extremist groups and not the majority of followers as a whole.

That was kinda stupid on my part. I was exagerating for effect, and annihilate sounded so much better to me than ostracized. I completely agree. It only takes a couple jerks to screw things up for everyone.

Definitely agree with that one lol. Except for Buddhist's. I've never met a mean one. I am a Christian and even I like Buddhist people better than my own kind rofl.

Perhaps it's that whole geographic area? Some of the nicest, kindest people I know are from Inida, only I think they were Hinduists.

They are very similar religions. Some Hindus consider The Buddha to be a reincarnation of one of their main gods. Anyhow, both religions revolve around Karma. The goal is to one day be released from the continuous cycle of reincarnation by getting rid of one's bad Karma. To do so, you gotta be nice. Sorry if you didn't care to know all that lol. (Or already knew) I'm taking a World Religons class. The teacher is a bore, but I'm still learning a little bit lol. It's so interesting to me.
