Not because you're ashamed of who you're voting for but because there was so much less people bashing each other for their choices because the topic was taboo, amirite?

You do know that it was just as bad in the past, right? All of the political really kicked into high gear in the 1800s. Plus, in some countries, people were threatened into voting a certain way and if they didn't, they would be harassed if not assaulted.

I don't think discussing politics should be considered taboo. People tend to become better educated through debate.
